BLEND: 20% Chardonnay for elegance and finesse, 40% Pinot Noir for roundness and structure and 40% Pinot Meunier for fruit quality. CRUS: 100 - 150 meticulously selected crus make up the blend. VINIFICATION AND AGEING: At Nicolas Feuillatte, non-vintage wines are aged for at least 3 years in the caves, whilst the legal minimum ageing requirement is only 15 months. APPEARANCE: Pale yellow in colour with silver tinges, crystal clear and brilliant with a well-balanced ribbon of delicate bubbles. NOSE: Initially subtle on the nose, fresh, white fruit flavours including apples, pears and peaches intermingle with spices (curry and turmeric). A second intake reveals a more expressive bouquet, which evolves towards ripe fruit flavours. PALATE: Smooth and elegant, boasting a concentrated bead which creates a refreshing finish.
